I don’t properly remember the first time I was given some plain paper and a pot of paint, but I do know that I was, (and continue to be), happiest when I am creating something. Putting pencil to paper is a magical experience. That blank expanse of wood pulp holds so much potential, staring work on a piece of art is like taking the first step on an exciting new adventure; you never quite know where you might end up, but one thing for certain, you know that along the way you are going to learn a great deal, work harder than you thought possible, and enjoy (almost) every minute. 

I specialise primarily in watercolour illustrations, but also create characterful ceramics, often using the blank surface of the clay (in a similar way to a piece of paper), and using the glazes in much the same way as my watercolour paint, thus creating bright and whimsical results.
